Pikachu Case -Secret Santa-

Finished the Pikachu Case for the Secret Santa event being held on DA by the GottaCraftEmAll group. I was a tad late with finishing it, but hopefully the person will like it.

I might make more.

Pikachu Case -WIP-

Pikachu Case I'm working on. It's for a Pokemon Secret Santa Event on Deviantart. I'm a tad late on finishing it, but hopefully I'll be done with it today. I will be posting pictures of the finished item once it's done.

OC Design Entry+OOAK

My Original Character concept for the "OC Design Nightmare Before Christmas Contest," held on Deviantart by Another Contest Group.

I was originally going to be making the this guy into an actual 3D OOAK doll. But I forgot the deadline and I can't get him done in time to submit to the contest.

I was so worried that my drawing wasn't going to be good enough, but then I read that they accepted sketches, so I was like HUZZAH! Good times.

I'm still going to be making that OOAK doll of him, so look forward to that in the future. I'm thinking of making varieties of him to sell. If anyone likes his design that is. >_>

Note: The snake tail is going to be posable. I'm going to put wire in it so you can pose it and all that good stuff.

Commission WIP

Work I've done so far on the commission I received. I'm almost done with this first guy! Hopefully I'll be able to finish him and start on the next guys.

My first try at an OOAK doll. I had this little guy as an idea a while ago, and I've been working on him on and off, but I just finished him a day ago. So this is the first time I've made anything like this, I see a ton of mistakes but I think it was alright for my first try.

I'll be fixing my pattern and then making more to sell~
I've got a ton of ideas for a bunch of different Guttlings. So it's quite exciting bringing them to life.

This little guy is made of fleece, cotton fabric, felt, and polymer clay pieces. Everything was handmade by me.

Guttling Species Information:
Guttlings are very hungry creatures. They observe humans from a distance and would stay away from them if it weren't for all that delicious food they seem to carry all the time. They are on a mission to get as much of that delicious food as they possibly can. They plan out ways to get it, and if it seems to work they keep doing it.

What Guttlings don't know though, is that humans find them quite adorable and their plans amusing. Thus Guttlings usually get the food from humans without having to do what they planned out. But this makes the Guttlings think that their plan worked, so they keep making plans anyway.

If food disappears when you've set down to eat, it was probably a Guttling hiding somewhere who swiped it. You can always tell which Guttling is responsible by looking at their stomach.

All Guttlings have horns, and their stomachs are visible. Their feet are chicken-like and they have cone-like nails.

(This species is my original creation.)

Guttlings + More

I just keep piling projects on my plate on top of each other. Which then results in things being left on the backburner *coughamigurumiteddyscough*. Regardless, I've been working on something new and exciting during that time.

I couldn't hold back any longer, I needed to try my hand at making plushes. I see the remarkable things people make and I want to make my creations come to life like that. I've always wanted to make plushes, but I just couldn't get motivated enough. Well now I am, and the first ones I'm going to dish out are Guttlings. That's the name I have decided upon and I hope you enjoy them.

So far I have really enjoyed making this little guy. The top picture is his body and head. I had to re-stitch his mouth because it was crooked and was bothering the hell out of me. I also re-made his legs and horns because the other ones were too small for his body, it didn't look right. I also decided to add in the white nails that were originally in the concept sketch. I wasn't going to but decided it'd look better.

Now I'm deciding on whether I should wait for the plastic safety eyes, or just use the ones I've made (the little black dots you see there in the picture). Once I do decide though, everything will be put together and I'll see if the pattern I made the first time around is good enough to keep using for the rest of the Guttlings.

That's not all though, I've ordered quite a lot of fabric because I have other plush ideas that I'm going to bring to life. So wish me luck on this journey of sewing and occasionally stabbing my finger with a needle by accident.

Finals Over

School finals are over, but work is still kicking my ass. I have to get used to the inconsistent hours. So I'm sorry for the further delays that will follow. But I will keep working on items on my days off.

On the bright side I did find time to update pictures of items in my shop. One of them being the one you see up above. So if you're curious, check them out.

There are also items on sale, their prices didn't exactly change, but compared to the price of similar items that I'll be posting, they're cheaper.
